Our goal is to have 100% participation from our parent community in the auction — whether it’s helping with planning and setup, attending or hosting a table on auction night, securing a donation or two, or staffing one of our partner schools’ auctions. The auction is one of the three main fundraising programs for North Beach — bringing in a large portion of PTA funding for important programs for our children. What’s more, it’s great fun — a hallmark of our friendly and very special community.
If joining the auction committee appeals, please join us for our kick-off meeting on October 17th, 7-8:30 pm at 8745 Jones Ave NW. It’s a great way to get to know other parents while helping with important work that allows us to pull off this awesome feat. We’ll talk about roles and the big and small ways we could use a hand. (Bonus: you get a pass on bedtime duties at home and can also enjoy fabulous wine!) Questions?
