AGC Update!!

GREAT NEW TOTAL THIS WEEK: $51,683
We've got $3,317 to collect in two weeks. We can do it!! More great news: North Beach received a waiver to continue using Saxon Math next year!!! Did you know that your AGC contribution helps to pay for the Saxon Math curriculum at North Beach? This year, we paid $7,200 for Saxon and we HOPE it won't cost too much more next year. It is just another reason we strive for 100% participation, because all students are receiving the benefits of an outstanding math curriculum!
We are getting closer with each week and Project Play- Dough is helping us reach our goal of $55,000. Please turn in your pledges and donations right away so we can finish up the year! We'll post class updates next week!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WORKING WITH US TO KEEP ART, MUSIC, TUTORING, AND SAXON MATH ALIVE AT NORTH BEACH!!
Donations can be sent via kidmail or made online via Paypal at http://www.northbeachelementary.org/agc.htm If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kate Rappe' at kate@cmykate.com or Tina Kliman at jedkliman@comcast.net.

GOT WINE!

Who doesn't enjoy a glass of wine now and then? And if you don't, how many times have you had to pick up a bottle as a gift? How would you like your own Instant Wine Cellar? Drink it yourself or give it away, your choice - but it's all for a good cause. We'll be doing an instant wine cellar raffle at the spring fling - buy a ticket for a chance at a 50 bottle wine cellar...but we won't have the cellar without your donations. Sooo, please donate a bottle of unopened wine - it can be Two-buck Chuck or that gifted Riesling that you know you'll never drink - to the North Beach Spring Fling Instant Wine Cellar raffle. We'll be picking up bottles at the west entrance of North Beach on Thursday of this week, 3/18, and Tuesday of next week, 3/23. Rod McCarvel will be taking donations on Thursday, and Debbie Bayliss will be accepting donations on Tuesday. Please participate, even if you don't intend to go to the spring fling, your bottle will help to raise money for the PTA general fund, we're counting on you! If you'd like to donate but can't drop by the school, please contact bobbijmiller@gmail.com and we'll make arrangements to pick up your donation. We have one bottle donated already - only 49 more to go...or donate more and we'll pick more than one winner!
