Drama Club-Broadway Remix

Club Description:
During these classes students will get the chance to act, dance and sing as we learn songs and scenes from a variety of Broadway classics! Musical numbers may include Singing in the Rain, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls and Mary Poppins! This after-school club is perfect for the student who wants to try it all! Students will be given the opportunity to participate in a final performance, but are not required to. Culminating Performance TBD.
Spring Session (8 meeting dates): April 3, 10, 24 May 1, 8, 22, 29 June 5
Tuition: $120 *Limited number of scholarships are available
Minimum of 10 students, maximum of 18 students.

About the Instructors:
Sandy Sonko: Sandy is a passionate educator and the current Music Teacher at North Beach. In 2012, Sandy decided to combine her passion for the performing arts and her lover of teaching by creating a children’s musical theatre company – Seattle’s Littlest Performers. Since then, there has been no turning back.
Madison Rengli: Madison received her B.A. in Theatre with a specialization in Youth Drama and Performance from Central WA University. She has enjoyed teaching a wide range of areas including theatre, art, dance, music and sports including Gymboree Play and Music and KIDSTAGE at the Village Theatre, Youth Theatre Northwest, Studio East, Kirkland Parks and Recreation, and of course Seattle’s Littlest Performers.
Jessa Young: Jessa is a signed recording artist, teacher, composer and singer-songwriter with an extensive background in directing children’s musical theatre. She has taught private piano and voice lessons to children and adults in Seattle for over three years. Jessa has a way of really connecting with children one-on-one and is passionate about helping them find their inner musician.
