Drawing & Painting

Class Days: Wednesdays
Class Time: 3:45-5pm
Location: Room 7
Gain confidence and develop an appreciation for art while finding your own artistic style. We'll work from still life observation as well as our imaginations with charcoal, pencil, acrylic paint, and collage materials. 2-3 weeks each of drawing, painting, collage. New projects for returning students!
Spring Session (8 meeting dates):April 2, 9, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28 (no class April 16)
Tuition: $182, materials included *Limited number of scholarships are available
Possibility of a K-2 and 3-5 split if enough registrants
Enrollment minimum is 5, maximum 10

About the Instructor:
Patty Makatura has been a professional artist for over two decades through her own business, Makatura Murals, and as a scenic designer/artist for various theatres in Seattle, Chicago, Boulder and eastern PA. She has illustrated a children's adventure book, "Little Lala", teaches art in after school programs at Green Lake and North Beach, is a teaching artist at Whittier and at Artist and Craftsman Supply, and continues to develop her fine art career.
