Greetings North Beach, tick...tick...tick...wow! I cannot believe there are only 3 weeks left until summer. We have been immersed in end of the year reflection conferences over the past 2 weeks. I am impressed with all of our teachers and their ability to reflect on their practice, and in doing so, they contributed to the agreed upon next steps that will positively impact our teaching and learning. Also, we have completed our Phase 1 interviews for: Kindergarten, 4th grade and .8 special education positions. Top candidates are currently being contacted and we should have more information by the end of this week.

I joined our 5th graders at camp Colman last Tuesday. I stayed with group 3 who participated in various team building exercises and ended with an intense rock climbing event-many of our brave 5th graders made it to the top and "rang the bell" and the others were brave just to strap on the gear and give it a try J The other groups went canoeing and participated in other water and beach activities and they picked a beautiful day to do it! There were crystal blue skies-gorgeous.

We will not accept any parent teacher requests for the 2011-12 school year. Please do not contact individual teachers.

Teachers will collaborate and create balanced classes and then I will assign the teachers.

Please remember to sign in at the main office and wear your visitor badge

No bikes and wheels 9:00am to 3:40pm

No dogs on campus 9:00am to 4pm

Supervision times 9:00am to 3:25pm
