Welcome to Staff Appreciation week!
May 6th - 10th, 2013
Committee Chairs: TBD - we need volunteers
As we all know, we have the most wonderful group of teachers and staff at North Beach, and this is a huge opportunity to thank them and show our support!
Each day of the week will feature a different event, and to make them all a success, we need lots of volunteers: there are lots of little ways to pitch in and make a difference, and some larger ways, too!
Last school year this is how we thanked our staff:
Monday: We'll have the GIVING TREE (from which parents "pick an apple" off a tree in the main hall listing details on a school-related item taken from teacher and staff "wish lists."
Tuesday will be FLOWER DAY, in which families bring in flowers (from garden or store) to help create "bouquets of thanks" for staff and teachers.
Wednesday, we'll hold an all-staff sit-down "THANK YOU LUNCHEON."
Thursday Family-donated baked goods and fruit and lattés made to order will make up our "THANKS-A-LATTÉ" event.
Friday will be FAVORITES DAY, when families can bring in favorite small items of staff and teachers - as listed in the "Favorites Binder" (hardcopy in the main office) Please note: we also know which scrip stores our teachers and staff prefer, so now there's an easy way to thank someone and help the school at the same time!
