North Beach Elementary is fortunate to have a wonderful parent community that is united behind the goal of creating lifetime learners. Parent volunteers are a huge part of what makes North Beach a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow.

Volunteering at North Beach provides a great opportunity to provide invaluable assistance to teachers and staff, get to know other families at school, make great friends, have lots of fun, and help us grow as a school community, whether you help from school or from home.

​We all have something to contribute. Below is a listing of various ways you can volunteer your talents at North Beach. We welcome your involvement as a volunteer!
​Time Commitment:
occassionally during the school day
  • Lunch volunteer - help students in the lunch room & help keep lunch room clean
  • PTA events - help run events such as Harvest Carnival, Book Exchange BINGO, Walk-a-Jog-Field Day and more. 
  • Classroom - Ask your student's teacher when they need help and let them know what your schedule allows.

Time Commitment: 
Evenings - 3 months
  • Kingergarten Ambassadors - may include summer. 
  • 5th Grade camp & promotion 
  • Nominating committee - actively seeks future PTA leaders

​No matter what your schedule is, we have volunteer opportunities for you!

  • Giving Tree committee
  • NB Appreciation Week committee
  • Single Event planning committees: Harvest Carnival, Veteran's Day Assembly, Talent Show and more
  • The Big Give committee 
Time Commitment: 
Evenings - year long
  • Enrichment program - volunteers needed immediately following last bell. 
  • The Auction committee
  • 4th/5th Grade Leadership committee
  • Yearbook committee
  • Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) committee
Need a reimbursement from the PTA for volunteer expenses. Complete the PTA Reimbursement Check Request Form.
