The Walk-A-Jog-A-Move-A-Thon is coming up fast! Check out the web page here for more details, and be sure to look for forms that have been sent home with your kids. Those forms are due on May 31st. Some great prizes this year, so get those kids out there getting pledges and donations!

The office is getting some complaints about parking in the neighborhood of our school: blocking driveways, parking in front of fire hydrants, etc. When you are parking, be especially aware of the distance from driveways. In the city of Seattle, the municipal code calls for 5 feet of space for a driveway, which may seem like a lot, but it is the law, and you can get a ticket for that. 

Neighbors are at the point where they are considering calling City Parking Enforcement, but they would rather we get the word out than people get ticketed for this.  Let's really try to be good neighbors here!
